Pelargonium incrassatum.
Numerous Pelargonium incrassatum plants, including cultivars are produced in the nursery each year. A vivid pink and bright cerise flowered plant are featured in the photograph. Pelargonium incrassatum is one of South Africa’s most spectacular flowering plants.

Othona halli is one of the rarest species and also one of the most difficult to propagate. It grows on very alkaline quartz strewn hills in south western Namaqualand.

Othonna herrei is a favourite amongst succulent enthusiasts. It is particularly attractive when grown hard. A thousand or more of these plants are grown from seed every year in the nursery.

Othonna herrei lends itself to display in ornamental hand made terracotta containers. These specimens, dormant when the photograph was taken, are planted in a pot with a rough finish and an oxide burnish. The pot was made by a craftsman potter resident in Johannesburg.

Crinum delagoense has very beautiful umbels of dark pink flowers with red longitudinal stripes followed by a most attractive cluster of pink berries that resemble apples.
